This page is maintained by writema to explain how we use cookies. It describes current practices and is not independent legal verification.
What are cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Some are necessary for a website to work; others are used for tracking and advertising.
What we use
writema uses only strictly necessary cookies:
- Authentication cookies: identify your session after login. Without these, you cannot stay signed in.
- CSRF protection: prevent cross-site request forgery attacks.
These cookies are essential. They cannot be disabled because the service would not function without them.
What we don't use
- No analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, etc.)
- No advertising cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No session recording tools (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.)
- No third-party cookies of any kind
Third-party services
Our hosting provider (Lovable Cloud / Supabase) may set technical cookies required for authentication and infrastructure. These are limited to what is necessary for the service to operate.
Managing cookies
Since we only use essential cookies, there is nothing to opt out of. You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will sign you out of writema.
